On Aug. 25th, the first day of the new term, DUT leaders such as Zhang Dexiang, Ou Jinping, Kong Xianjing, Shao Longtan, Xue Guang, Guo Dongming, Zou Jiyan, Lu Zhongchang, Ning Guiling came to the classrooms in the Comprehensive Building, No.1 Building, No.2 Building, the architecture and fine art, etc. respectively to inspect teaching and students’ attendance. They sat in classrooms and listened carefully to the lectures to experience the undergraduate teaching and to welcome the new term with all the teachers and students together.
In this process, they found that the undergraduate teaching had a great start after the rest during the vacation. Teachers were in high-spirit and prepared adequately. Students were punctual and listened very carefully.
The whole classrooms were in good order. The leaders listened to the courses seriously and earnestly. During the breaks, they communicated with the teachers and students warmly and asked them for opinions and suggestions on the undergraduate teaching at times.
The principals of various departments and members of DUT’s Teacher Advisory Group also visited classrooms, listened to courses and inspected the attendance of teachers and students of various departments. Before the new term, teaching affairs division, asset management department, and related administrative departments had examined the teaching equipments and classrooms thoroughly and arranged the inspection work at the beginning of this term to ensure that the teaching go on wheels in the new term.
