DUT Holds New-Term Meeting of All Cadres

    • On Aug. 27th, DUT held the new term meeting of all cadres in the Lecture Hall of the Graduate Teaching Building. Secretary of DUT Party Committee Zhang Dexiang hosted the meeting and gave important speech to put forward requirements for all Party members and leading cadres at every level. President Ou Jinping delivered the work report entitled “Deeply Implement the Scientific Concept of Development, and Promote the University to Develop Soundly and Quickly”. He reviewed the work in last term and deployed the work in this new term.




          While reviewing the work in last term, President Ou Jinping summarized comprehensively from seven aspects: cultivating talents, subject construction, scientific and technological work, the development of qualified personnel, international cooperation and exchanges, service and security system and the work of party building.




             Then President Ou Jinping deployed the work in this new term: to continue to earnestly study and implement the spirit of the 17th National Congress of the CPC, to implement all the tasks brought forth on DUT’s 12th Congress of the CPC, to spare no effort to complete the start-up of the 3rd period of the “211 Project” and the end of the 2nd period of the “985 Project”, to fully carry out the demand of “implementing elite education and training elite talents”, to consolidate and deepen the reform of the personnel system, to further straighten out the science and technology management system and mechanism, to strengthen international exchanges and cooperation, to enhance security and support system construction, and to prepare for the celebration of DUT’s 60th anniversary.

    Secretary Zhang Dexiang stressed the main tasks in this term while hosting the meeting.




             Members of DUT Party Committee, members of DUT Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC, deputies of people’s congress, members of the National Committee of CPPCC, all cadres of DUT, secretaries of party branches; professors and associate professors; leaders of democratic parties, and representatives of retired staff attended the meeting.
